Job Description


The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting, coordinating and executing the daily employee relations and engagement functions. The HR Generalist is required to provide exceptional interpersonal interaction with Benore employees of all positions and at multiple sites. This integral role reports to the Human Resources Leadership Team, and requires a high level of confidentiality partnering with employees on a variety of employee relations and management issues, as well as a high level of accepted Human Resource practices and procedures. Provides support in functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to:

  • Work standards compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT) and government regulations, employee records, files, employee relations, training, orientation, accident investigation, AAP/EEO and special projects.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications and/or meetings.
  • Preparing reports in conformance with legislated and legal requirements or company needs.
  • Following all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO and CTPAT Standards.
  • Providing high value-add HR expertise, coaching and follow through to Business Partners as well as employees at all locations.


  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 7-10 years experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
  • PHR or SHRM CP required
  • Industrial environment or transportation experience required
