Job Description


Primary function of this position is to ensure proper management of company assets at a local domicile to include owned, leased, and rented equipment including commercial vehicles, yard switchers, forklifts, golf carts, GPS devices, handheld scanners, etc. The Senior Service Coordinator will be responsible to ensure equipment is in good working order at all times. Additionally, the Senior Service Coordinator will order, receive, charge out and maintain an accurate inventory of all parts used for repairs to Benore equipment at the local domicile. The position requires professional communications, computer and presentation skills. Position represents the company in a positive image with employees, customers and the community always performing in a safe and ethical manner.


  • Responsible to ensure that scheduled maintenance and repairs are performed on all Benore equipment in a timely manner
  • Ensures that an accurate, professional service record for each asset is properly maintained and easily accessible for any internal or external audits.
  • Required to maintain records of asset assignments and locate assets as needed
  • Ensures all required forms and documents are completed in a timely manner,
  • Ensures all DOT required records are maintained and accessible including eDVIR's, repair documentation, annual inspections, etc.
  • Responsible to accurately order parts as needed for both stocked and non-stocked items
  • Responsible to follow Benore Maintenance Dept. purchasing process; assign purchase order numbers, verify and receive parts, ensure all documents are accurate
  • Responsible to ensure all parts are properly charged out to the correct unit number in a timely manner
  • Keep accurate, ongoing inventory of all parts at a local domicile. Performs weekly cycle counts and quarterly inventory counts.
  • Responsible for the safe keeping of assets when not in use.
  • Assist in Accident Investigations of assigned equipment and coordinates with the Transportation Manager or Designee and the Director of Safety to ensure Accident Investigations are in compliance with DOT Regulations and Benore company policies.
  • Follows all workplace processes and standards in support of the ISO-9001 Quality certification program.
  • Other duties as assigned.


This position will supervise local Technicians with work prioritization and daily activities only.

High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated experience as Service Manager, Service Writer or Class 8 (and/or) Automotive technician with supervisory experience required.


Must possess and demonstrate excellent computer skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products software i.e.; Word, Outlook, and Excel. Must demonstrate the ability to learn task-specific software and data entry; must possess strong interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate good communication skills both written and oral; must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
